What is your view concerning the Bible?

I view the Bible as not a book but a collection of books.

Each book needs to be evaluated independently.

Evaluation consists of:

• Identifying the author.
  • Some books were authored by prophets or apostles.
  • Others were written by historians.
  • Others by political leaders.
  • Some were written by "holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1:21). Others were not.
• Determining whether the original record has been faithfully preserved.

The Bible is not a comprehensive collection of all that God has revealed

God reveals truth to his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7) in many places and at many times.

The Bible does not capture all of these revelations.

Each generation can benefit from the writings of prophets and apostles from previous generation. But current prophets and apostles are the most critical for each season. "By their fruits ye shall know them."
